Another desired class is Gunlancer because is a good dps, tanky af, and can shield+dispell debuff the party which is the most support oriented from dps classes. My favourite class is arcanist, but it's not really a good choice for a new player. Very investment heavy and takes quite a bit of practice to pilot it. In Lost Ark, when you play for the first time, you have to do a 'tutorial' 1-10 levels. After you finish tutorial once, all the classes you create next, you can skip tutorial and start at level 10 straight. Gunlancer is a dps class just like the rest.The class can stay at mid range and just dish out damage even if the guardian gets in your face you can just shield or use a ability with protection ruin or one of the build in shields in the damaging abilities. Just over all a really fun class, it’s like a male sorceress but doesn’t hit as hard and can actually take a few hits.Paladin is the most fun to progress. But half of lost ark player base jsut want to get bussed anyway so they don't care. There's definitely an issue with how paladins are generally perceived. I'm really enjoying soloing them. One class that I'm already playing is Striker - I'm really enjoying it for group play and PvP, but I find it a little frustrating to use in solo due to lack of overall push immunities and over reliance on back attacks This may be interesting reading to you. It's only 17k votes but may give you a general idea of how KOREAN players feel about each class and what classes they prefer to group with. TL;DR: Most preferred DPS classes: Gunlancer, Wardancer, Glavier, Destroyer Least preferred DPS classes: Striker, Demonic, Arcana, Summoner Artillerist isn't really that ranged. I play close/mid. Very high stagger and destruction. Need good knowledge of mechanics due to attack delays. But I've played all the classes and I have the most fun playing the Artillerist. It is slow to level up and the class doesn't get fluid till t3. .
